Strict Pomodoro is a timer that forms part of your internet browser. It prevents you from going on social media and other time-wasting sites for 25 minutes, then it gives you a 5 minute break. It’s a great way to stop the procrastination cycle! But watch out – once you start the timer, there’s no going back…

Kate is a qualified pre-screeners for Irlen’s Dyslexia. In a nutshell, that means that we can pick up on children who are struggling with reading because their brain isn’t processing the letters properly. Something like 12%-20% of the population deals with Irlen’s Dyslexia (ever noticed Bono’s coloured glasses?), and yep, you guessed it, the solution is filters or tinted glasses. For children with Irlen’s, reading off a white-board or white sheet of paper can be hell, and they don’t even realise it. Finding out that a tint can help is often a big piece of the puzzle for kids who have seen specialist after specialist about their reading and writing.
