I believe that every person should receive all the help they can get so that they can be closer to achieving the results they want (and even beyond what they expect) in school. The subjects learnt in school are not merely to pass exams but are actually essential in everyday life.
Susmitha is our tutoring captain at Parramatta, and for good reason! With a wealth of tutoring experience, a passion for helping children succeed, and a broad knowledge of the major school subjects, Susmitha is able to help pinpoint the needs of each child she meets, and works with parents, children and tutors to develop tutoring strategies that get kids moving in ways they didn’t know were possible.
When she’s not working, Susmitha studies Engineering and Commerce at the University of Sydney. She has been tutoring ever since leaving High School and considers it to be a very rewarding experience. Her goal is to make each student feel confident about their abilities and really enjoy learning. Her favourite part of tutoring is explaining mathematical and scientific proofs as nothing compares to seeing the excitement on a student’s face when they have an “epiphany” about a formula or concept. However, she also enjoys analyzing the works of Jane Austen and Emily Bronte (in particular) when teaching English to High School students.
In her spare time, Susmitha likes to go traveling with her friends, watching films, skyping with her grandparents and checking off things on her bucket list. In the future, she hopes to explore the world and live in different countries.
